Majestic in its power and steeped in enchantment, Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, is known to be wielded only by those who are deemed *worthy*. This is a well-established narrative within the Marvel Universe. However, in the comics, there have been instances where other characters have been able to lift Mjolnir, demonstrating their worthiness.
In the 2014 comic series "Original Sin," it is revealed that Captain America, whose real name is Steve Rogers, was able to lift Mjolnir in a moment of great need, proving his worthiness. This was a significant moment as it showcased Captain America's purity of spirit and his unwavering moral compass.

Sure, Chris Evans' Captain America might not be able to do much more than make the hammer wobble, but the comic book incarnation of Steve Rogers was able to not only lift it, but also throw it back towards Thor's grasp when he needed it the most in The Mighty ThorVol. 1 No. 390, back in 1988.
